Our working groups

The SCN is supported by a number of working groups, which offer specialist oversight of the Network's projects. The tumour stream working groups provide clinical guidance and oversee the regional clinical management of specific cancers throughout the region. Other groups provide advice on services for specific groups of patients, such as AYA (adolescent and young adult).

The South Island Cancer Consumer Group offers a consumer perspective, and the Te Waipounamu Māori Leadership Group provides advice on tikanga and kaupapa Māori, and helps to ensure that reducing inequalities is kept at the forefront of the SCN's work.
